MAY THE LORD HIMSELF TEACH YOU!!
Dear TMCI Family,
As we have prayed for you, we have felt that the Lord would have us to ask Him to teach you! As we began to think of the things that the Lord teaches us, we remembered how precious it is to know that God loves us enough to provide us with everything we need, including all of the instruction we need to live lives that are pleasing to him.
The Bible teaches us that all three members of the Godhead are involved in teaching us. Isaiah 54:13 promises to the people of God that "all your sons will taught of the Lord and the well-being [peace] of your sons will be great." When Jesus walked on earth and saw the people "like sheep without a shepherd, ...He began to teach them many things." (Mark 6:34) Then, when Jesus was preparing to go back to the Father, He told His disciples that "the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, ...will teach you all things." (John 14:26).
Among the things which God teaches us are: His ways and paths (Ps. 25:4 and Ps 27:11), the fear (respect) of the Lord (Ps. 34:11), to do His Will (Ps. 143:10), to pray (Lk 11:1) and all things (John 14:26). The apostle Paul writes that "you yourselves are taught by God to love one another." (I Thess 4:9) You have demonstrated that you have learned to love by your prayers for us and your gifts of love & support. Please continue to pray for us that we will be like Jesus in speaking only what our Father teaches us. OUR GOD REIGNS!!
