UfaBible Ministries, August Report

UfaBible Ministries

Spanning continents for Christ

Summer has come to its end. Thank you for praying for our summer ministries. We’ve had incredible months of ministries in both – US and Russia. Travels went smooth. We had a good conversation with a lady while on our flight to the US in June. She was from Ukraine and was sensitive to spiritual matters. God made us – Russian speaking people – to seat together in 200+ passengers Boeing 767 flying from Paris to Orlando!

The family camp this summer was a blast. Although a few days were cold and rainy God’s hand of grace was upon the camp. The Lord blessed us in many ways one of which was rededication of several souls who had not been following the Lord.

We walked the group of different ages through various leadership skill building exercises and taught on the character of servant leaders. The youngest participant was 1,3 months old which is our daughter Christina and the oldest was Nazeel in his 50s. We also had time of witnessing in local villages which we did undercover. We received warm and promising responses in a few houses. We conduct our camp in the area inhabited by indigenous Bashkir people.

Please pray as we start a new year in our ESL school. Pray that the Lord would lead spiritually sensitive students to us. Pray for wisdom in planning of the curriculum and schedule. We shared previously that pace of life in this culture is slow. Things are achieved slowly and time-consumengly. So many times our desire to reach certain goals was crashed at the reality of everyday life in Ufa. Pray that our hearts would not be dismayed but stood firm in the Lord.

Liliya witnessed to her former university teacher last Sunday. We had Alzheimer disease and was doing not so good. Our church prayed for clarity of her mind to hear the good news and He answered. She heard, next day she died. Praise the Lord for such moments that He gives last chance to share the good news about salvation. Pray for comfort for the relatives and friends and wisdom for Liliya as she attends the funeral tomorrow.

Family-wise, our daughter, Christina, is behind in her vaccination schedule. We can’t make shots due to lack of funds.

If you are able to help us with a special offering toward this expense it would be greatly appreciated! You can make tax deductible contribution to Ufa Bible Ministries which is recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 non-profit organization.
