Jen Cook and Joy Dodd, TMCI Missionaries to Honduras

Number ministered to:  30.

Joy and Jen continue to help friends and fellow missionaries acclimate to their new surroundings in HN since their arrival in October 2016 as they are attending language school over the next 6 months. They are with a different organization and in a different location then Joy and Jen. They have visited our home and will visit again over the holiday to take some time to break from language studies. JTTN will be handing the baton to this group of people with Heart of the City Church Honduras and have made that announcement to the villagers and they are getting used to the idea that Joy and ten will not be around for much longer in the main land. JTTN will continue Bible Institute classes/discipling of the pastors through Feb/March 2017 where the other team will take over. We have also been net-working with others within the nation, especially those missionaries that live and work full time at the next remote location we are moving to. Joy attended a women’s conference in the month of November. And Jen had her own retreat time alone at the house for a few days. Jen and Joy have both been intentional about meeting national friends over lunch/coffee-dessert to share the location change for near-future ministry. And we have been intentional to keep team meeting times and be diligent to write newsletters, share the move with many and will soon begin asking others to join in this new work.

PRAISES:

The Lord has been good to us, faithful and gracious. He is keeping us physically, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, mentally and financially as well as our families and support team. That this continues as we walk out His will and calling in our lives and as others are called to be connected with the Great Commission Mandate with us.

Prayer Requests:

JTTN Missionaries are in a time of transition from one location to another within the nation of Honduras. This process will take about 6 months in all to complete and 2 of those months are done with 4 more to go. We will begin a time of integrating and being established in ministry after our several month time of sabbatical once we transition to the new location. Our readying process entails down-sizing personal/house-hold items, researching shipping options, keeping in communication with family, leadership and all donors, writing newsletters, raising more prayer and financial support, making sure we are leaving everything better than we have found it. *that we remain in peace and in a place of God’s Rest during this entire time. *Jen needs to secure a rental property that will be safe to live in as well as be in a great location to be close to the JTTN Team and other missionary friends. *That plenty of grace and favor continue following us, going before us as we settle in a good community of believers and missionaries and then go out and deal with the darkness in that land once our time of sabbatical is formally finished. *That ALL manner of voodoo and witchcraft cannot come near us or our dwelling…homes, pets, belongings, finances, ministry. *That the ministry of Joy To The Nations, International, Inc. remains strong, can withstand the future challenges that may come and that our board of directors steps remain blessed and hearing the voice of God with us for all important future direction. *That our families and donors as well are kept covered in and by the Blood of the Lamb at every turn and have long life, great health and are safe on the home front. *That Joy and Jen remain in strong covenant unity and see all distractions, distractors, those that would try to build ungodly thrones in our ministry or our lives crumble quickly before us. *That the vision for service remains protected, flourish, goals be met, souls come into the Kingdom, disciples made, people set free, baptized/filled with the Holy Spirit, walk into their destiny!
