Glenn and Lynne Schweitzer, TMCI Missionaries in Nicaragua

Number ministered to: 1,600

This past month, we became the covering for another rural home church in need of direction and a Senior Pastor.

At the beginning of March, we initiated 90 days of classes (along with our 6 pastors) of ‘Overcomers’ training for helping people deal with life-controlling problems including addictions.

A new Christian radio station asked our pastors to minister every noon which they are happily doing.

At Iglesia Nuevo Amanecer our children’s ministry is growing again and we have quadrupled the numbers showing up Sunday mornings.

We praise the Lord that Emmy’s kidneys are healed and that she is advancing with her chemotherapy without ill effects.

Prayer Requests

  1. Praying for God’s miraculous healing of our daughter, Emmy, from Lupus. and Pastor Glenn from diabetes, for him to receive the laser cataract surgery he needs in May, for our daughter, Lisa, from back and other skeletal-neurological problems due to car accidents.

  2. Praying for finances to support our Pastors, ourselves, and our ministry.

  3. Praying for God’s direction in every aspect of our lives.

  4. Praying for sufficient donated food or funds to help 8 of our churches that no longer receive it. Nicaragua has been suffering a drought for 3 years and these campesinos are in desperate need of food.

  1. Praying for speaking engagements and possible fund-raising opportunities while we are in the U.S. from May 8th-June 8th.

  1. Our church in Diriamba was broken into and our sound system stolen. We are praying for a new and much better system.
